Sarasvati is an experienced and diverse master belly dance teacher and multi award belly dancer. She was originally trained in traditional Egyptian style as well as Turkish and classical in the UK and abroad. For years Sarasvati has been teaching women and males various belly dance techniques and her classes are always fun and welcoming for everyone.
Her main focus is for a students to really understand the basics of belly dance technique, learn strong foundations, understand why we use certain moves in dance and how to perform the moves to Middle Eastern music.
Each term Sarasvati brings different styles and topics so the students will have the best chance to learn and explore all the aspects of Oriental styles. Additionally Sarasvati will always provide you with a home video for you to watch at home so you will get the full benefits of your training.

19th January 7 weeks course: Open Level Richmond
Join us for new exciting 7 weeks belly dance course featuring drum solo, hip and upper body isolations, fun moves and transitions. During this 7 weeks you will learn basic technique which will be joined together with music into a combo. These classes are more suitable for "stronger" beginners but complete beginner are welcome to join to.
Each class is 1 hour long and it starts with short warm up. Afterwards you will learn basic belly dance moves which will be then put together into easy to follow combos. Each combo is recorded and shared with students so they can practice at home.
Please bring water and comfortable clothing.
Please note the course is non refundable and non transferable and this extends to failure to attend the course, partially attending and medical reasons. Cancellation policy 7 days before the course start date. All classes have to be pre paid online.
Duration: 7 weeks. 19th, 26th January, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd February, 9th March.

19th January 7 week belly dance course: Improver Plus
Join us for new and highly energetic belly dance course featuring veil and drums. In this course we will be learning how to gracefully navigate in classical belly dance music with veil entry and fast (ish) music. This majense will definitely be great as challenge to kick start 2025.
